It's been I guess about 6 months since I've been back from my travels and I got to reminiscing about things. I really wanted to have some Mate on Friday so I went down to Soho to buy some. I got a full kit ie yerba, a mate and bombilla for £10.95. So in pasos arg I guess about 60. For 60 pasos you could pay for a bad for the night 30 pasos, 20 pasos for one of these kits, and get a pizza and beer for less than 10.
But in London you have to pay more that’s life, you also get paid more here so 11 quid is not that much, and it was nice to get that heady high from the tea and sit in the garden mateando.
I think there’s more to it than just missing the tea.
