Starting teaching

After arriving here on the 18th of April, I'm finally going to start teaching tomorrow. I thought I would be nervous but I'm not. I think I've just got so bored that I just want to get started. Ok, it's only going to be 8 hours this week, so a nice easy introduction and seeing what level the students are at. I've been looking on the internet and there are loads of lesson plans to use, but I still not sure what level they are at and whether they'll be too easy/hard, so I'm still a bit frustrated. Maybe soon I'll be too busy to be as 8 hours won't cover my rent and I'll need to get over 20 hours of teaching in a week to be able to cover rent and my bar tab. Lisa is coming over for this Friday, I don't have any lessons on Fridays (I'll try and keep it that way are maybe just the mornings like Chris out in Brazil), so I have three days to show here the sites and sounds of Madrid. I've not been doing any turisty stuff as I'll be doing that with friends, maybe that's why I've been so bored.

Anyway I probably need to start getting the lesson ready for tomorrow.

Tapas, caƱas y sidra!

So this is what tapas are! Also a very nice blonde, that's the beer.

We found the cider bar, but having a cider proved tricky. Luck for us some Spanish Sisters (Yes, well maybe) were at hand to give some advice.
