Back to Blighty and down to breezy Brighton!

Saturday afternoon in the Dorset on Bond Street North Laines. The day after a night of Dave Pearce until 4am. Even Andy Party went home early, not like you Sir! I've been trying to give Lisa a taster of what Brighton is like. It's been over 5 years since I lived down here and how things have changed. It's a lot less Hippy and more Hip, I'm not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing. I would hate for the town to loose its character. To off set the gentrification of the lower part of the north laines to the upper part there are some very nice Banksy stenciles keeping things real. I didn't have time to get a shot of them, but it's not like I'm not going back to Mecca. I think Brighton still feels more like home than Rossendale, London or Madrid, even though I only lived there for one and half years. There was just something right about getting on the train at Victoria to escape London, then getting some fresh air and some air time on my bike up by Devil's Dyke. Then after a chil, out to be part of some of the best club live in the UK. That's not all in the Easyjet magazine it gives a list of hangover cures, where it lists 7, giving hair of the dog as the best. Have these people never been down to Brighton and had the "cure" walking down the sea front?!
Saturday night and this time it was Lisa's turn to be the one to crash early. But it can´t be easy sharing a bed with Mr Fidget. Down to the beach and I´ve got more of a suntan from one weekend in Brighton than a few months living in Madrid.
